Psalm 78:19-22, 41 and 42
Yes, they spoke against God:
They said, “Can God prepare a table in the wilderness?
20 Behold, He struck the rock,
So that the waters gushed out,
And the streams overflowed.
Can He give bread also?
Can He provide meat for His people?”
21 Therefore the Lord heard this and was furious;
So a fire was kindled against Jacob,
And anger also came up against Israel,
22 Because they did not believe in God,And did not trust in His salvation.Yes, again and again they tempted God,
And limited the Holy One of Israel.
42 They did not remember His power:
The day when He redeemed them from the enemy,more-than-enough

God wants to bring you out of your wilderness, out of your bondage, out of your depression, out of your illness, out of your addiction.
Trust in God’s Salvation. His salvation includes prosperity, peace, health, joy, and life. It’s not just about forgiveness of sins, it’s about an abundant, wonderful life.
How could the children of Israel be so doubtful when they had seen so many miracle? Why would we be so doubtful with all the miracles we’ve seen.

We prayed for Judy last week. She went to the ER yesterday with a ruptured appendix. It had ruptured awhile ago and gangrene had set in but her body made a bubble around it and contained it to one area instead of spreading through her body. That’s a miracle!! Prayer works.

It’s not over with until we give up on God. We need to remember the things that God has done, the things He has promised. The Scriptures are true and we need to have faith in what God will do.
God is more than enough EVERYDAY–EVERY TIME!!

God provided the sacrifice for Abraham and Israel. Abraham believed that God was Jehovah Jireh (the Provider) and he walked in that faith.
Walk in the faith that He is El Shaddai–the ultimate power–MORE THAN ENOUGH.
John 4–Samaria was out of the way but Jesus knew He needed to go there. The disciples were hungry, but Jesus was led by the Spirit and stayed by the well. He was in the place that He needed to be, doing what He needed to do. Sometimes we limit God in our lives because we are in the wrong place doing the thing we want to do, NOT BEING LED BY THE SPIRIT.

The woman had a need that she didn’t even realize she would have filled that day. She thought that she was going to just get a bucket of water. She thought just her thirst was going to be satisfied.
She came with a bucket but she left with a river. She met the one who was MORE THAN ENOUGH. Her life was changed and not just her life but those of many others as she went to her community and became an evangelist.
You don’t just have to get by. You can have more than enough. You can have more than just what you think you need. Don’t look for God to just meet your spiritual needs, but He will meet ALL of your needs.

The man at the gate Beautiful–he was just expecting a few coins but God showed up and gave him MORE THAN WHAT HE EXPECTED. He just expected coins. God wants to do something outside of our expectations. He want to do more than what we expect.
No matter what you are going through, God wants to more than just enough. There is no limits to God. He is more than JUST ENOUGH to get you by.  We need to take the limitations off of God.
We come to church without an expectation of God doing something in our lives. He can change us when we least expect it but He wants us to start expecting, start believing, start seeking Him diligently.

He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek HIM!!! Be more focused on God and less on yourself!!
We’ve got young people coming up that love to sing. We need to let them rise up, we are going to start using them.
You can’t work hard enough to please God. He just wants us to be obedient. Obedience is better than sacrifice.
Peter, James and John gave what they had at the gate. They made an investment into the man’s life.
You read on further and these same boys, these disciples are in jail. They needed the same God who had healed the man at the gate to set them free. Because they made an investment, they got a return. They were freed because of their faith.
What is more important than what is going on in the White House, is what is going on in YOUR house. He is MORE THAN ENOUGH! He is abundant life.

If you need God to do something in your life, you need to step out, reach out to God.
In order for the man to receive his full healing, he first had to get up. He had to have enough faith to try to stand. He had to lay aside his doubt, raise his expectations and step out. It’s time for you to step out. It  is time for you to raise your expectations of what God wants to do in your life.

Remember what God has done for you in the past. Remember the miracles of the Bible. Remember the miracle that Judy experienced this week!! Raise your expectations to be in line with God’s power!!
